Build A Medical Records (the "Service") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.
We collect: (a) account information you provide (email address, password — stored as a salted hash, never plaintext, and optionally a display name); (b) content you create or upload while using the Service; (c) usage data such as pages viewed, features used, and session duration; (d) technical data such as IP address, browser type, and device information.
We use your information to: (a) provide and maintain the Service; (b) authenticate your identity; (c) send service-related notifications; (d) improve and analyze the Service; (e) detect and prevent abuse, fraud, and security incidents; (f) comply with legal obligations.
Your data is stored in an encrypted database hosted by our infrastructure provider. Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms (PBKDF2). We use HTTPS for data in transit. While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, no system is perfectly secure.
We use browser localStorage to maintain your login session. We do not use third-party tracking cookies for advertising. Session tokens are tied to your account and can be invalidated by signing out.
Build A Medical Records may integrate with third-party services (such as authentication providers or payment processors) that have their own privacy policies. We share only the minimum data necessary for those services to function.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance purposes.
You have the right to: (a) access the personal data we hold about you; (b) correct inaccurate data; (c) request deletion of your account and associated data; (d) export your data in a machine-readable format. To exercise these rights, contact us through the Service.
Build A Medical Records is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover such data, we will delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
